Waste incineration

Activated carbon, as a material with strong adsorption properties, plays an important role in waste incineration. It can effectively absorb harmful gases and particulate matter, reduce air pollution, and protect the environment and human health.

The principle of activated carbon is to absorb gases and particulate matter through its porous structure and large surface area. The pore structure of activated carbon includes micropores, mesopores and macropores. These pores form a huge surface area, giving activated carbon extremely strong adsorption capacity. When harmful gases and particulate matter pass through activated carbon, they will be adsorbed on the surface of the activated carbon, thereby purifying the air and achieving the effect of reducing pollution.

Activated carbon is widely used in waste incineration. In waste incineration equipment, activated carbon is usually used as a filter material and placed in the flue gas treatment system. When the flue gas passes through the activated carbon layer, the harmful gases and particulate matter in it will be adsorbed on the activated carbon, and the purified flue gas will be discharged into the atmosphere to reduce environmental pollution. In addition, activated carbon can also be used to treat waste residue after garbage incineration, reducing environmental pollution and resource waste by adsorbing harmful substances in the waste residue.
